In this stream, we invite contributions that critically engage with how digital technologies are reshaping the African continent and its diaspora, with a focus on how new narratives, practices, networks and visions for the future are emerging via contemporary digital technologies. We are particularly interested in:
• Technology and Agriculture: How AI and digital tools are transforming agricultural practices and food distribution.
• Health and Data: The role of digital platforms in addressing health challenges and improving healthcare delivery.
• Archives and Histories: How digital databases, tools and interfaces are reshaping archival practices and historical narratives.
• Legal and Economic Practices: The impact of digital innovations on legal
systems and economic development.
• Artistic and Cultural Expressions: How digital media is influencing literature, art, and heritage.
We look forward to your contributions that will help us explore and understand the dynamic role of digital technologies in shaping African futures.
