AFRICAN DIGITAL RESEARCH REPOSITORIES & DATABASE OF AFRICAN PUBLISHERS
Posted on 14th October, 2022 in News
There is currently a great deal of interest in matters such as Open Access, Open Science, Open Data and African publishing on the continent. The IAI is pleased to promote its recent work in such areas: its survey report and database of institutional repositories within the African continent, alongside its database of African publishers. The IAI has compiled a list of some 200 repositories that make a variety of research content publicly available throughout the world. Such resources continue to grow and new repositories are coming on stream; interest in data repositories and open science practices is increasing. The database of African publishers is intended as a resource for authors and publishers of books on African topics and countries to locate possible co-publishers for their work in the African continent as well as to stimulate further research.
