Delegates will receive two meals a day as part of the conference registration package, as well as coffee/tea mid-morning and mid-afternoon. There is a small supermarket right next to the venue which sells sandwiches, water, juice and other meal options. There is a cafeteria on campus, which sells coffee and tea and simple snacks. For those needing to provide a budget to fill out visa forms, everything is included and you should not need to spend much after you have arrived at the conference venue. There will be coffee and biscuits when you arrive to register on the 29th, and the first meal is lunch on Thursday 29 August. If you arrive on Wednesday evening, you will need to buy something to eat that evening as the conference will not have started.


All delegates will be housed in the Oxford Brookes Student Village, just across the road from the conference venue and conveniently located at one of the bus stops used by the Airline Bus.

The conference will take place in the John Henry Brookes Building, an easy 10 to 15 minute walk away.

Oxford Brookes University can be reached by public transport from the railway station as well as all major airports. The best way to get from Oxford Westgate train station to Brookes University is to take a bus which takes 24 min and costs £1 – £3. This journey takes around 20 minutes, and buses depart every 30 minutes from the station.
From Heathrow and Gatwick Airports, you can take the Airline Bus. Purchase a “fixed date return” ticket, which will cost £31.50 from Heathrow and £40.50 from Gatwick return. You will use the Oxford Brookes stop, which is right across the road from the Clive Booth Student Village and John Henry Brookes Building.
